DIMKAT: Builds 10 MW photovoltaic for French Smart Energies

DIMKAT CONTSRUCTION expands its portfolio by undertaking the construction of Photovoltaic plants with a total power of 10MW on behalf of the French company SMART ENERGIES.

Specifically and in accordance with the terms of the agreement, the company undertook design and study services, procurement of the necessary construction equipment, installation work and delivery in full operation of 16 photovoltaic plants in the area of Kozani. As stated in a related announcement, the cluster of 16 projects consists of 11 PV plants of 500kW, 2 PV plants of 700kW and 3 PV plants of 1MW and the annual electricity production is expected to reach 15.5GWh/ year.

Also, with the implementation of the project, the company will undertake the maintenance and proper operation of the PV stations for the next 5 years.

The company has proceeded with detailed planning and study in order to provide its client with the best technical solution, always respecting the national and international standards of requirements for electrical installations as well as with respect for the environment and is expected to complete the construction of the PV plants during the second half of 2023.

The French company SMART ENERGIES is an independent power producer (IPP) specializing in the development, financing, construction and operation of RES projects.

The company was created in 2012 and is based in Paris. It already has a group portfolio consisting of more than 450 units in operation or under construction, with a total capacity of approximately 130 MW and recorded a turnover of more than 30 million. euro in 2022.
