On 14-9-2021, Tuesday, in Stefani Corinthia, the 10MW photovoltaic park, owned by the company R Energy, was inaugurated. The event took place near the installation in a specially designed area, meeting all the necessary protection measures against the coronavirus.
Both Archbishop Hieronymos and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis attended. It was also attended by members of the Council of Ministers, such as the Minister. of National Defense Mr. Panagiotopoulos, as well as the Deputy Ministers of Development Mr. Papathanasis, Mr. Dimas and Mr. Tagaras. The local authority was not lacking with the mayor Mr. Nanopoulos and the member of parliament for Corinth, Mr. Glues to attend as well.
After Voltalia Greece took over the project, our company undertook the difficult task of implementing the 10MW project in this area. Difficult conditions, mainly for the early configuration of the installation site, which, however, did not deter our experienced and highly qualified technical staff. All DIMKAT engineers, craftsmen and laborers worked seamlessly to deliver the project both within the timescales they were pressing and maintaining the quality of the construction to the maximum extent, overcoming the difficult weather conditions that awaited them in mountainous Corinthia.
Finally, we are happy because a project has been delivered whose size can meet the needs of a small town and whose impact on the environment is considered very important, as its operation can significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Renewable Energy Sources is the orientation that, as in the whole of Europe, so in our country will create the conditions for a better symbiosis between man and the natural environment and will prevent the further exacerbation of climate change. We hope that in the future, alternative forms of energy will offer each generation healthier living conditions.
